"With an over abundance of quality cooking pots and pans, a large cooker, 2 dishwashers and cafetieres, we will find it difficult to improve on this place. Even the kitchen knives were sharp."

"Can't fault this place at all. 20 of us stayed here for a hen weekend, it's fully equipped, beds comfortable. Great outdoor area, BBQ & picnic tables. Fully equipped kitchen. We made some amazing memories here. And would love to return with the kids. Highly recommended"

Located a leisurely ten minute walk from Cogra Moss, at the foot of the mountains, Felldyke bunkhouse is convenient for the C-2-C cycle route and is ideally located to explore some of the quieter areas of the Lake District.

Converted from a derelict Pumphouse into a comfortable and practical group accommodation, it has taken input from many other bunkhouses to try and achieve a balance between practicality and comfort. Set up to cater for groups of up to 23 clients, including a downstairs disabled access room with adjacent shower room, Felldyke is ideal for clubs, schools, large family groups and groups of friends.

The Bunkhouse was completed after a lot of hard work, just in time for our first guests in September 2011. Since that point we have received a lot of feedback, which we've listened to.  In Autumn 2013 we added a lounge with sofas, to relax in after a hard day on the hills..... or an easy day day wandering around the lakes; in December 2014 we replaced the cooker for a better gas range; and, for 2015 we have added a BBQ and outdoor gravelled area; a gas fire / stove for the lounge; and, sub-divided the upstairs into two bunk rooms of ten beds.  If you have any suggestions to make things even better, just let us know.

Activities ideally suited for Felldyke Bunkhouse include:

Walking, Fell Running, Mountaineering, Climbing, Mountain Biking, Cycle Touring, Horse Riding and Pony Trekking, Fishing or just enjoying the peace and tranquillity of one of England's most beautiful corners.

"In 10 + years of using bunkhouses around the UK for group walking holidays, we have never been treated to such well appointed and organised accommodation."
